For almost a decade Matt has been working in the financial services industry, specialising in areas such as property acquisition, superannuation, listed securities, retirement planning, structure, personal insurance and finance.

Matt is well regarded for his ability to build trust, develop concrete relationships and his high quality delivery. Throughout his career in the financial industry, Matt has understood that commitment and hard work are the cores for success.

Matt began working in the financial services industry at one of Australia’s top banks, gaining experience before starting several private organisations from the ground up. These businesses grew on the strength of his leadership, business development, mentoring and disciplined work ethic.

Matt has been heavily involved in the training of finance students and investment, superannuation and risk advisers. Matt has also been directly influential in the sales and management of over $300 million worth of investments.

Since joining the financial services industry, Matt has been made a ‘Fellow’ of the Australian Institute of Management and ‘Senior Associate’ of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. He is also a member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia, as well as the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia and the Finance Brokers Association of Australia.

Local government has privileged Matt by naming his childhood basketball courts after him due to his strong local involvement and profile.
